Host sites and team assignments for the 2024 IHSAA and IGHSAU state qualifying meets for all four classes of boys’ and girls’ cross country were announced today.
Class 4A and Class 3A meets will begin at 4 PM on Wednesday, October 23. Class 2A and Class 1A meets will begin at 4 PM on Thursday, October 24.
The state meet in Fort Dodge is also split over two days, with 3A and 4A racing on Friday, November 1, followed by 1A and 2A races on Saturday, November 2.
Scheduling between state qualifying and the state meet is to accommodate IGHSAU regional volleyball dates.
The IHSAA and IGHSAU do not charge admission for state qualifying meets. Host sites may apply parking fees.
