MOVILLE — Wins have been hard to come by for the MMCRU wrestling team this season, On Tuesday, MMCRU had its season dual record fall to 3-12. Losses came to Sioux City Heelan 51-24 and Woodbury Central 75-0.
The Royals inability to fill numerous weights proved MMCRU’s downfall. They had two actual match wins to Heelan’s four. The wins came back-to-back from Andrew Peterson at 132 pounds by fall in 1:00 over Kane Poulsen. Parker Glassmaker then canvassed the shoulders in only :20 of Kaden Stueter. However, it was the five forfeits and a double forfeit that took possible points away.
Against the ‘mighty’ Wildcats, MMCRU suffered losses by five pins, three technical falls, and a major decision. MMCRU also had forfeits at 106, 126, 165, 175, and 285.
